Nikolai Nikitin

Chaiman of the Jury / Central and Eastern Europe delegate to the Berlin Film Festival / Germany

In 1995 he founded the film magazine „Schnitt“which he still heads as publisher. The focus of his work lies in European film. Next to the journal, he also publishes film books, translates texts on film history, gives lectures on cinematic themes. In May 2002 he was appointed Eastern-Europe delegate to the Berlin Film Festival and still holds this position today. Since 2007 he is also handling the Central-European countries for the Festival. N. Nikitin has been a member of many international juries in film festivals in Chicago, Hamburg, Karlovy Vary, Oberhausen, Palic, Plzen, Sarajevo, Sochi, Sofia, Tampere, Tallinn.

Tatyana Liutayeva

Jury member / actress / Russia

Actress Tatyana Lyutayeva is best known for her role as Anastasia Jaguzhinskaja from the legendary Russian movie by Svetlana Druzhinina - “Vivat, Gardemariny”. After the splendid debut, she was playing in more than 60 feature movies and TV shows.

Nick Holdsworth

Jury member / Eastern Europe Bureau Chief for VARIETY / Great Britain

A British freelance correspondent with more than 20 years' experience as a journalist and writer, Nick is the Eastern Europe Bureau Chief for VARIETY and also writes for a range of British and international newspapers and publications that include the Sunday Telegraph, Mail on Sunday and University World News, the first global higher education internet newspaper. He is also a consultant to the Turin-based European Training Foundation.

Antoine Simkine

Jury member / Producer / France

Antoine Simkine is a co-founder and ex CEO of the internationally renowned visual effect company Duboi were he was involved as a visual effect executive producer and created visual effects for the movies “Asterix and Obelix Take on Caesar“, “Amelie from Monmartre”, “Alien. Resurrection”. Since 2004, he’s an independent producer and has joined the ACE program in 2008 (Ateliers du Cinéma Européen). He produced Alanté Kavaité’s first feature “Ecoute le Temps / Fissures” in 2006.

Peter Suschitzky

Jury member / Cinematographer / Great Britain

P.Suschitzky studied cinematography in Paris briefly. He started work when he was 19 and by 21 was shooting documentaries as a cameraman. P.Suschitzky made his first movie as Director of Photography at the age of 22 and many more (about 50 movies) have followed, including "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" ,”The Empire Strikes Back", " Mars Attacks" and all of David Cronenbergs’ movies for the last 20 years.
