Into the Abyss

Into the Abyss

A living legend Werner Herzog returns to Vilnius IFF KINO PAVASARIS for the second year in a row with a new documentary. This time, the director turns his focus on one horrible crime in Texas and the realities of Death Row. A young man is scheduled to die. The details of his horrific crime are plainly laid out for the camera. His accomplice will spend the rest of his life in jail. Born of poverty, youth and ignorance, their offenses are indefensible. However shattered the lives of the survivors may be, it still seems that death for the perpetrator is inhumane.
