The Attempt

A woman comes for a confession to a young priest. She has committed a serious crime. The priest left shocked what he heard and attempts to issue a secret of confession. After this he would make himself a priest-offender, who breached the provisions of the Christian. Finally, he decides to entrust everything to God. The basis of this story comes from dramatic event in Kelme district when a woman drowned her two little children and on the same day she was seen going to the church.

About director:

Giedrius Tamoševičius (b. 1980) graduated from secondary school in 1998. In 2004 he graduated from Vilnius University with BA in Informatics and is currently pursuing studies in TV and Film Directing in Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater. Director has already made several short films.
