Ode to the Dawn of Man
Ode auf den morgen der menschheit
Documentary on the making of the music to "Cave of Forgotten Dreams". It was recorded in July 2010 at Protestant Church of Haarlem in The Netherlands with a composer and a musician Ernst Reijseger and a music producer Stefan Winter.
About director:
Werner Herzog (b. 1942 in Munich, Germany) raised in the remote Bavarian village of Sachrang. He worked as a welder to fund his first film at the age nineteen, and has since directed over fifty features. His films have won numerous awards, including the Grand Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival for "The Enigma of Kaspar Hauser" (1974) and best director at the Cannes Film Festival for "Fitzcarraldo" (1982).
