Three Candidates to the title of the Best Film Actress have been revealed

This evening we found out the names of three mysterious women - actresses who have been nominated for the Best Lithuanian Actress award. This year's most notable film actresses were presented at a special event at the Vilnius International Film Festival, which was attended by film, theater and the wide screen stars.
The nominees, talented young generation actresses Toma Vaskeviciutë, Migle Polikeviciute and Jurga Jutaite emerged in Lithuanian cinema screens characteristically and will be evaluated by the audience of Vilnius IFF throughout the festival.
The viewers can give their votes for their favorites on the website www.kinopavasaris.lt Started on March 16th, the voting will continue until the closing of the festival on March 29th. The actress who will receive the most public votes will be awarded during the closing ceremony by the representatives of “Bourjois” with a trip to Paris.

The Candidates to the Title of the Best Film Actress:
Toma Vaskeviciute (b.1986 m.) is an actress of Lithuanian National Drama Theatre troupe. Created roles in Vilnius State Small Theater, Kaunas State Drama Theater, Oscar Korsunovas Theater, cinema and television. She was awarded with the Gold Cross of the Scene in 2009 for the main female character. Notable film roles: Daina in the film directed by A. Puipa: “Whisper of Sin”. Nora in the film “Loss” directed by M. Martinsons; mute in “Duburys” directed by G. Luksas and a memorable role of Vile in “Anarchy in Zirmunai”, created by S. Drunga. The latter is the winner of Moscow International Film Festival in 2011 where it won the "Perspectives" program prize.
Migle Polikeviciute (b.1985 m.) plays in Vilnius State Small Theater, Lithuanian National Drama Theatre, the theatre “Utopia” and “Art Fort”. She was awarded with the Gold Cross of the Scene in debut / young artist category. Notable film roles: Girl in S.Drunga’s film “Anarchy in Zirmunai”, Ruta in “The Last Day Of Honeymoon” directed by R. Elertman, Irina in the film of Swedish director Axel Peterssen “After Eight”. The last, memorable one – Kristina in the new film by A. Puipa “Mieganciu drugeliu tvirtove”.
Jurga Jutaite (b.1986 m.) produced a couple of short roles. She was awarded a nomination of the Best Supporting Actress in the “Silver Crane Award”. Notable film roles: Aurora’s role in the film directed by K. Buozyte “Aurora“, Dominyka in “You am I” created by K. Vildziunas, Aukse in K. Vildziunas’ "Back to Your Arms".
